What is sold: A guiding service — accompanying, showing and interpreting. It does not include arranging transport or accommodation.
Price: As shown on each plan page: tax included, per group.
Other costs you will incur: Your own transport, admissions, food and drink, accommodation, equipment rental and insurance. These are not included in the fee and you pay each business directly.
Payment methods: Card payment via Stripe: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
When you pay: In advance of the day. Your booking is confirmed when payment clears.
When the service is provided: On the date and time agreed at booking. For online plans, we fix a time after payment.
Cancellation and refunds: Free 8+ days before; 30% at 7–4 days; 50% at 3–2 days; 80% the day before; 100% on the day or for a no-show. If the day is cancelled for weather, natural disaster, transport suspension or anything on my side: full refund or a new date. Refunds may be reduced by the payment-processing charge.
Note on the nature of the service: I am not registered as a travel agent under Japan's Travel Agency Act and do not act as agent or intermediary for transport operators or accommodation providers. I hold no passenger transport licence and will not carry you in a vehicle.
Technical requirements: Online plans need an internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone.
